It’s common today, many people are becoming on the go with their work. Therefore, some believe that people are having less time for relaxation. To my way of thinking, this argument has its provements. This will be shown in the following paragraphs by taking into account multitasking and tough competition in work places.
Looking first at tough competition in work places in order to secure their jobs, employees have to work overtime under pressure on account of their leisure time. For instance, instead of hanging out with their families or friends, they are becoming fairly busy with the development of their professional skills. This example makes it clear that how strong competition influences on human’s social life. From this, it can be concluded that human beings are being away from their entertainment.
Moreover, multitasking absorbing their energies is another barrier for people to have enjoyment. In fact, the person who is exhausted from their overwhelmed tasks can not take time for enjoyment. For example, according to statistics, office workers and business owners who are doing multitasks have less social time than other people. It’s obvious when looking at this example that multitasking kills out leisure activities.
Following the analysis of multitasking and tough competition, one can conclude that working in pressure is considered as a killer of our leisure time activities. Therefore, it’s recommended that people should reconsider how to allocate their social and work time to keep their life balance.
